3. Booking Process

3.1 Bookings may be made by telephone, email, online enquiry, or any other method we make available from time to time.

3.2 When making a booking, you must provide accurate information, including the Site address, access details, parking arrangements, type of property, approximate volume and nature of waste, and any relevant restrictions or risks.

3.3 We may provide an estimated price based on your description of the waste and photographs if supplied. This estimate is not a fixed quote and may be adjusted on arrival once our team has inspected the waste and Site.

3.4 A booking is only confirmed when we have accepted your request and provided you with a date and time window for the Service. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3.5 You must ensure that a responsible adult with authority to approve the work is present at the Site at the agreed time, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

4. Access, Parking and Site Conditions

4.1 You must ensure that our team has safe, reasonable and lawful access to the Site and to the waste to be collected. This includes arranging keys, entry codes, permission from building management and any other access requirements.

4.2 You are responsible for providing adequate parking or for covering any parking charges or permits required for our vehicle(s). Any parking fines incurred due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by you may be charged to you.

4.3 We reserve the right to refuse or suspend the Service if access to the Site or waste is unsafe, obstructed, or significantly different from the information provided at the time of booking. In such cases, a call-out or cancellation fee may apply.

4.4 You must ensure that the Site is reasonably clear of hazards and that any special risks are notified to us in advance, including but not limited to structural issues, dangerous animals, sharps, needles, or contamination.

5. Pricing and Quotations

5.1 Our pricing is generally based on the volume, weight and type of waste, along with access conditions, loading time, and any additional labour or services required.

5.2 Any quotation provided before arrival is an estimate based on the information you supply. The final price will be confirmed by our team on Site once they have inspected the waste.

5.3 If the volume or nature of waste, access conditions, or required labour differ from what was originally described, we may revise the price accordingly. You will be informed of any price changes before work proceeds.

5.4 If you decline the revised price, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable call-out or attendance fee to cover our costs.

6. Payments

6.1 Payment is due in full on completion of the Service, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing in advance.

6.2 We accept payment by cash, debit or credit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods. We do not accept cheques unless specifically agreed.

6.3 For commercial or account customers, payment terms will be as specified in our invoice or in any separate agreement. If no terms are specified, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.

6.4 If you fail to make payment by the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest on the overdue amount at the statutory rate permitted under UK law, along with reasonable costs of recovery.

6.5 All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. If VAT is applicable, it will be added at the prevailing rate.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Waiting Time

7.1 You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us directly.

7.2 If you cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, no cancellation fee will normally be charged.

7.3 If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival time, we may charge a cancellation fee to cover our reasonable costs, including administration and allocation of resources.

7.4 If our team arrives on Site and is unable to carry out the Service due to lack of access, absence of an authorised person, unsafe conditions, or incorrect information provided, we may charge a call-out fee or the full quoted amount at our discretion.

7.5 Waiting time caused by delays outside our control, including lack of access or the need to obtain permissions, may be charged at our standard waiting time rates.

8. Waste Types and Prohibited Items

8.1 We handle general household and commercial waste, bulky items, furniture, garden waste, builder’s waste and similar non-hazardous materials, subject to our capacity and licensing.

8.2 We do not accept certain hazardous or specialist wastes unless expressly agreed in advance. Such items may include, but are not limited to, asbestos, clinical or medical waste, chemicals, solvents, oils, fuel, gas bottles, pressurised containers, radioactive materials, and certain types of electrical or electronic waste.

8.3 If hazardous or prohibited items are discovered during the Service that were not disclosed in advance, we may refuse to remove them, adjust the price to reflect additional handling or disposal costs, or cancel the Service. Any such decision will be at our sole discretion.

8.4 You are responsible for informing us of any potentially hazardous, fragile, or unusual items before we commence work.

9. Customer Responsibilities

9.1 You must ensure that all waste to be collected is clearly separated from items that are to be retained. Our team is not responsible for identifying which items to take unless specifically instructed.

9.2 You warrant that you are the owner of the waste or are authorised by the owner to arrange its removal. You agree to indemnify us against any claim made by a third party alleging unauthorised removal of items.

9.3 You must not include in the waste any items that are illegal to possess or dispose of, or that may cause harm to our team, the public, or the environment.

9.4 You agree to provide all necessary information for us to complete the work safely and efficiently, and to comply with all reasonable instructions given by our team on Site.

10. Our Responsibilities

10.1 We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable UK laws and regulations, including waste management and environmental legislation.

10.2 We will transport and dispose of collected waste only at authorised facilities and will take reasonable steps to maximise recycling and recovery where practicable.

10.3 Upon request, we may provide evidence of our waste carrier registration or similar compliance documentation.

11. Liability and Limitations

11.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.

11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, we will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or loss of reputation arising out of or in connection with the Service.

11.3 Our total liability to you for any damage to property directly caused by our negligence shall not exceed the price paid or payable for the specific Service during which the damage occurred, unless otherwise required by law.

11.4 You must notify us of any alleged damage or loss as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within 48 hours of completion of the Service. We may require evidence such as photographs, reports or receipts.

11.5 We are not liable for damage or loss arising from pre-existing defects, poor installation, wear and tear, or items that were inherently fragile or in poor condition.

11.6 We are not responsible for items that you intended to keep but did not clearly separate or identify. It is your responsibility to ensure that only waste is made available for collection.

12. Delays and Events Beyond Our Control

12.1 We will use reasonable efforts to attend the Site at the agreed time, but arrival times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, operational issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

12.2 We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform the Service where such delay or failure is due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, accidents, road closures, strikes, or equipment failure.

12.3 If a delay occurs, we will endeavour to inform you as soon as reasonably practicable and to agree an alternative time or date if necessary.

13. Compliance with Waste Regulations

13.1 We hold the necessary registration or authorisation required to operate as a waste carrier under applicable UK law.

13.2 All waste collected will be handled, transported and disposed of in compliance with relevant environmental and waste management regulations.

13.3 We may issue, where applicable, waste transfer documentation or similar records relating to the collection and disposal of your waste. You should retain such documentation for your records and any regulatory requirements.

13.4 You agree not to request or require us to dispose of waste in any unlawful manner, and you acknowledge that we will refuse any request that would breach legal or regulatory obligations.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

14.1 We may collect and process personal data such as your name, contact details, address and payment information for the purpose of providing the Service, handling enquiries, and managing our business operations.
